If there was a fire in our house and I only had time to save one item from my closet I would without a doubt grab this coat. Not only is it stunning, but it was inherited from my grandmother and I always feel that she is present whenever I wear it.
At the end of 2015 I had read around 50 books and thought that maybe I could do the same 2016 and reach 100. When 2016 ended I had reached my goal and beyond ending at 105 books, so I thought I would make a list of the 10 best books I would recommend, but landed up with a list of 15 which then increased to 20 and now I’m just going to stick with that number before I end up just writhing them all down.
I would love to write a personal introduction about every single one of them but the list is to long and I refuse to take any of the the books off of it. But in short, Dostoevsky is a genius, Mario Vargas Llosa one of my new favourite authors and The Grapes of Wrath one of my favourite all time books. But really they are all great and interesting in their own unique way and I could not recommend them highly enough! I truly believe in the power of books, the power of knowledge and if there is even one person out there whom I have encouraged to read even one book, I am thrilled.

I know this will come as a shock to a lot of people, but I have actually bought myself a pair of jeans, and not only that, I have even started to use them (I bought a pair years ago that sat in my closet for months before being borrowed and eventually given away to my best friend since I never wore them) But this cool pair from H&M Trend is here to stay!
Happy new year everyone!
Me and alice sparkled the whole night in these gorgeous dresses. It reminded me of when our mom use to dress us up in matching outfits when we were little kids, but don't let the front fool you, they are not the same! Mine hade a lovely open back and Alice's dress a closed with a side split skirt.
